Assam Police Notification 2016
Assam police is an organization with a sanctioned strength of approximately 65,00. It is led by the Director General of Police and the Inspector General of Police with its Headquarters located at Ulubari, Guwahati. The Director General of Police is assisted by the number of organizations like Assam Police Housing Corporation Limited, Assam Police Radio Organization, Criminal Investigation Department, Border Organization, Bureau of Investigation, etc. To apply for the Assam Police SI Recruitment 2016, candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification. The eligibility criteria for the recruitment is that the candidates must possess 12th standard/Graduate from any recognized Board of Secondary Education of Assam Government. The age limit for Sub-Inspector post is between 20 to 24 years and for Assistant Jailor post is between 21 years to 38 years. The selection process will be based on the performance of the candidates int the written examination, followed by a physical test and an interview.
