ICAR Notification 2016 Eligibility Criteria
Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) was established on 9th January 1975. ICAR encompasses the disciplines of agriculture, horticulture, animal sciences, agricultural engineering, fishery and social sciences to research needs of the tribal areas under NEH including Sikkim. The headquarter is situated in Meghalaya and its regional offices are at Basar, Imphal, Kolasib, Jharnapani, and Gangtok. Candidates who want to apply for the ICAR Recruitment 2016 must satisfy all the eligibility criteria that have been mentioned in the notification. The eligibility requirements are that the candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree or Matriculation from any recognized board or university. The age of the candidates must be between 18 years and 30 years. The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates in the written examination followed by an interview. An application fee of Rs.200 has to be paid by the General category candidates and Rs.100/- has to be paid by the SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
