Joint Entrance Examination is organized by Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE. In past, they conducted AIEEE and IIT-JEE. Now instead of both exams, they have divided JEE into two, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Candidates need to write the mains examination to get promoted to advanced examinations. Candidates who qualify in the advanced examination can get admission in IIT’s and candidates who qualify in only mains exam can apply for IIIT’s and NIT’s in India. There are many Indian Institute of technologies in India, almost 18 IITs in India. They are Indian Institute of technology Bombay, Kanpur, madras, Delhi, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Roorkee, Bhubaneswar, Gandhi Nagar, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Patna, Ropar, Indore, Mandi, Varanasi, Palakkad, Tirupati.
JEE Main Eligibility 2016
Candidates who want to apply for JEE Mains 2016 must be at least have a 12th standard pass out. The age limits are 17 to 25 years. The JEE mains exam has two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can both the exams together. One paper is for B.E/B.Tech and the other paper is for B.arch. Both these exams are conducted online and offline and conducted for 3 hours.
JEE Main Application Form
Candidates who qualify the exam will be promoted to the JEE advanced examination. And if you qualify the advanced examination you will be given admission in any one of the Indian Institute of Technology. You will be allotted seats depending upon the main examination’s marks as well as the 12th standard marks, but the prior importance is given to the JEE Main marks.
