The Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd is soon going to fill their 110 vacant posts of Junior Assistant Technician, Technical Assistant Grade III, and others with highly efficient and smart candidates . The selection of candidates to the vacant posts is based on their performance in four selection rounds. At first there will be a written test which will then be followed by a personal standards test and physical efficiency test. The final stage of selectional is the personal interview round. Age Restrictions for different Posts in ONGC
Junior Fireman post
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 27 years.
- Age relaxations provided to the deserving candidates will be purely based on government norms
Remaining posts
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Age relaxations provided to the deserving candidates will be purely based on government norms
For PwD candidates
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Age relaxations provided to the deserving candidates will be purely based on government norms
Recommended Educational Qualification for different Posts
- For posts- 1 & 15: Recommended educational qualification is Post Graduation Degree in Chemistry with the specialization in Organic/ Inorganic Chemistry or equivalent from any recognized University.
- For posts- 2, 3 & 4: Recommended educational qualification is three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from any recognized Institute or University.
- For posts- 6 to 9, 13 & 14: The expected educational qualification isMatriculation with Science or equivalent.
- For post- 5: Recommended educational qualification is Graduation degree in relevant field with one year experience in the field of Security.
- For post- 10: Recommended educational qualificationis B.Sc. With Physics or Maths as one of the subjects with certificate or diploma in Computer Applications.

Salary Band :
- Posts – 1 to 5 & 15: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 27,000/-.
- Post- 14: Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 18,000/-.
- Remaining posts: Rs. 11,000/- to Rs. 24,000/-.
