Prime Minister scholarship scheme 2015-16
Prime Minister scholarship scheme was introduced in the 2006-07 for the welfare of service man and ex-coast guard family and provides this scholarship for their students or widowed women to pursue their professional degree courses. 4000 students will be selected for providing this scholarship. The authorities after receiving the application forms, will then select the best 4000 students and issue this scholarship to them. A sum of Rs. 2000 for boys and Rs. 2250 for girls per month will be given for a year. This scheme was mainly to help families of the service men.
Sainik Welfare Department Scholarship
The candidates who are applyin for the PM scholarship scheme must have an aadhaar card and a bank account number. Students who are pursuing master’s degree except MBA/MCA are not eligible and students who are studying abroad are also not eligible. This scholarship will provided for two years to 5 years depending on your course that you are pursuing.
PM Scholarship Application Form
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is that they must have any technical or professional degree. The courses which are applicable for the scholarship are given in the brochure. Students who are applying for this scheme should have minimum 60% in 12th standard. The last date to send in the application form is November 30th, 2015.
