Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association, held UPCMET 2015 today, 30 May 2015. The examination was conducted in offline mode. More than 7 lakh candidates have written the examination.
UPCMET 2015
Every year Uttar Pradesh Common Medical Entrance Test conducts during the month of May. Mainly 2 papers are included in the examination among which Paper I comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany, whereas Paper 2 comprises of question based on General English.
Each paper consists of 100 and 50 MC questions, respectively. All the questions are based on the syllabus of class XI and XII. For every right answer, 1 mark will be awarded to the candidate; however for the wrong answer .25 negative mark will be given.
Candidates should also notice that the paper 2 marks will be given more preference for the ranking as well as admission procedures once the UPCMET Results 2015 is out.
The result of UPCMET 2015 will get published by the first week of June 2015. Candidates can check out their results from the official website of UPCMET. The counselling and other admission based processes for the qualified candidates will be conducted after 16 July 2015.
